While putting together this Window Shopping list, I came across so many dresses I wish there was a use for in my life and so many dresses I could probably get away with but that I just don't have the fashion guts for. Instead of noting them here, I'm going to make a part two to this list, of dresses I can't bring myself to to even wish list but that I love, love love! My girl Sammie knows (and hilariously shares) my undying love of Mod Cloth dresses. She spends just as much time drooling over them as I do and she also believes in dressing for the occasion - whatever the occasion happens to be. However, so many other people will say that as much as they love the dresses where in the world would you wear their dresses? Which I guess is the same feeling I have about some of them, but the majority are perfect for being slightly nicer than anyone else in the room while doing basic daily life stuff!
I'd wear this any day! Cleaning house or running errands would look a lot better, don't you think?! Ordinary Happy Moments by Dear Creatures (xs-l, $182.99).
I think this is the kind of dress that most people probably wouldn't wear to dinner out but I would wear this on a date night for sure. Fancy Dinner Dress by Ryu (s-l, $84.00).
This is another one I'd probably wear anywhere! Lake Shore Soiree Dress (s-l, $49.00).
Annnywhere. Groceries or post office, maybe? Blueprint for Success (s-l, $67.99).
I know you'll laugh, but I would love to wear this to church. Yes really. Sociable Outing Dress by Moon Collection (s-l, $64.99).
This screams parent-teacher interview, yes? Or PTA maybe! Strong Illusion Dress by Kelly Lane (xl-xl, $199.99).
This is another dress I'd really like to wear to church with a black tank under it! Doubly Lovely Dress (s-l, $57.99).
Another one for the kid's school. Rose Conservatory Dress by Burlapp (xs-l, $187.99).
Date night! Reinventing a Classic Dress (s-l, $69.99).
Once in a very long while, I find myself out and about, doing something fun, without my kids. This dress would fit that delicious occasion just right. Believe in Love Dress (s-l, $52.99)
This is one step up from an anytime dress for me. I'd wear this out in the afternoon with my husband, even if it was just boring errands. All Sounds True (s-l, $49.99).
Another anytime dress. Some days the only people that see me are my husband and kids - and they are totally worth dressing up for. Luna Moth Dress (s-l, $47.99).
Fancy date night! Fancy date nights are few and far between but that's partly what makes them so special. Special dates call for special dresses, right? Red-y to Dance Dress (s-xl, $99.99).
Another super cute dress I'd love to wear out in the afternoon on boring errands with my husband. Dotted with Darling Dress (s-l,$47.99).
For some reason the wrap style of this dress makes me think of backyard picnics with the kids, though really it just looks very 'mommy'to me so I'd likely wear it where ever I end up with the kids. Instant En-wrap-ture Dress (s-l, $67.99).
Another backyard with the kids dress! Gourmet Breakfast Dress by Tulle Clothing (xs-xl, $62.99).
This would be cute to wear when hosting dinner with family or friends - think of how sweet a short hostess apron would look over this! A Lovely Life Dress (s-l, $67.99).
I'd wait for farmer's market day to break out this one, and yes, I'd wear it with a giant hat. Sunny in Style Dress (s-l, $49.99).
I'm not crazy about the shoulder strap on this, but they are removable and then the bag is perfect for regular life. Wallet, keys, pen and diapers? The square look of this bag is probably best suited to one of the wear to my kid's school dresses. Full Course Load Bag, $84.99.
This is big enough (and cute enough) to be an everyday bag. I love it. Room for More Shoulder Bag, $109.99.
Curling iron earrings?! Yes please! Curly Girl Earrings, $11.99.
Because right?! How cuet are these? Bow Get 'Em, Girl Earrings, $9.99.
It's very tempting to post some of the I'm too chicken to wear this dresses, but I'll save that for another day!
