Finding crafty ideas for teachers can be rough because even after only a few years of teaching, with an average of 20 kids in each class just imagine how many hilariously crafted gifts they already have. Or how many 'incredibly useful' mugs they must have! I'm not out to always give the best gift, but I do aim to give each teacher something they'll actually use. When I saw these bookplate printable on Skip to my Lou I was smitten! Originally I was going to make them for the librarians at the kids' school, but they seemed more fitting for Wee One #1's teacher and I think she appreciated them!
I have read some people printed them out on plain paper and then ran them through a sticker maker. A sticker maker? Neat!! I just printed them out onto adhesive paper and cut them out. Included with the printable bookplates is a template for a little envelope to put them in. I used two sets for one teacher, because I knew she'd use them all!
