Colorful Easter Layer Cake

This cute and colorful cake was inspired by two recipes I recently came across. The recipe itself is from The Gunny Sack and the decoration was taken from Betty Crocker.

The recipe comes together very quickly. Just mix all the ingredients in a bowl and divide into three portions (each portion is about 3 cups of batter). Tint each portion whatever colors you like, and then pour into prepared 9″ cake pans. Bake at 350 for about 35-35 minutes. Let cool, and ice!

You’ll need:
2 white cake mixes (Pillsbury Moist Supreme Classic White Cake Mix)
1 1/2 cups vanilla yogurt (Dannon Light ‘n Fit Vanilla)
1 cup water
8 egg whites
1/2 cup oil
