milk chocolate crinkle cookies

Technically, these cookies are called Milk Chocolate Fudge Crackles on the Robin Hood website, but I wrote out the recipe years ago as crinkles, so the kids haven't known them by any other name. Cute!

Milk Chocolate Crinkel Cookies - Robin Hood
1/4 cup shortening or butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

Fold in the chocolate chips. Now pop this sticky dough in the fridge for a couple of hours. It just needs to hold it's shape.

Preheat your oven to 325F/160C. Using about a tablespoon of dough at a time (maybe a little more), form smallish balls and roll them in icing sugar. Flatten them with a glass before baking for about 11-13 minutes.
